Fair Market Value Appraisals: This is the most common type of appraisal we perform. It estimates the price an object in your collection would likely sell for in a fair and open market transaction, such as at auction.

Insurance Appraisals:  This type of appraisal is specifically for obtaining insurance coverage on your collection.  The appraiser will consider factors like the artwork's value, replacement cost, and special risks to determine the appropriate insurance amount.

Donation Appraisals:  If you're donating a piece or your full collection to a qualified charity, you may need an appraisal to claim a tax deduction.  The appraisal will establish the value of the work or group on the date of donation.

Estate Tax Planning:  An appraisal can be helpful when settling an estate. It helps determine the value of a collection for inheritance tax purposes or equitable distribution among heirs.
